1D Member Lost

    Former One Direction band member, thirty-one-year-old Liam Payne died on October 16, 2024. Payne was in Buenos Aires at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel when he fell/jumped from the third floor. In the autopsy report, forensic experts cleared the rumor of if Payne was murdered. There were no signs of anyone else being involved, only his falling out the window is what officially caused his death. When investigating the room the local prosecutor’s office found evidence of narcotics and alcohol. Payne was likely unconscious during the fall. A 911 call from the hotel desk manager claimed that there was a guest who appeared to have had an excessive amount of drugs and alcohol and that he was “ breaking everything in the room.”  He requested immediate assistance because other guests were afraid since there was a balcony in the room that “He could be putting his life at risk.” When investigating, they found Payne was alone when he died, they found broken furniture and objects in his hotel room. 

    Many fans are mourning his death, saying they have been following Payne since he began in One Direction. Fans crowded and flooded the streets where he died and held a memorial for him. Officers said that more information on the case may not be public for at least a couple more weeks.
