Fall is a season of transition. The days are getting shorter and the temperature is gradually dropping, creating the ideal weather that is neither too hot nor too cold. The leaves are changing from bright green to darker, more peaceful colors. People are changing into comfy sweaters and baggy hoodies. Families are going on hay rides and visiting pumpkin patches. Friends are sitting around bonfires, telling scary stories and making S'mores. Students are going to Friday night football games to cheer on their teams. This is a special time for everyone. Unlike Christmas, no gifts are involved, but kids are still able to enjoy the free treats and time with their family. Kids can walk in their favorite characters' shoes for a night and collect piles of candy. During this time, families gather together and celebrate. In this season of transition, everyone is anxiously waiting for the time they get to spend with each other during the holiday season. In many parts of the world, this is the most popular time of year. People enjoy watching the leaves change colors and the cool weather. Fall is a lot of people's favorite season due to the beautiful, soothing colors and the clean, crisp air. This time of year helps people see the beauty within change.
