Henry Ruggs III was an NFL Wide receiver. He was in his first year as an NFL player when he was driving intoxicated and crashed going 156 mph. The airbags were deployed at 127 mph killing one lady and her dog. Police have said that his blood-alcohol level was .161, which was over two times the legal amount. The police also said that a loaded gun was found in the car. Ruggs had just signed a four-year rookie deal worth $16.67 million with the Las Vegas Raiders. His bail was set at $150,000. Ruggs, according to court recordings that show updated conditions for his bail, will be tested for alcohol four times a day. Additionally, he is unable to wear an ankle bracelet for his house arrest because of his injuries caused by the wreck.
