A Picture Speaks A Thousand Words

Mackenzie Ault

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Pictures can mean the world to someone but nothing to someone else. Remember that baby photo your mom shows everyone but you wish she would throw it out? While you hate this photo, your mom keeps it to see how much you have grown and remember how much fun she had growing up with you. For years, pictures have been taken to capture memories and historical events that not every generation will see in person. You may have had a picture shown to you by your family of your great-great-grandfather because you were not alive to know him or to even know what he looked like. Maybe you have a picture from a day that you call the best day of your life, and it means so much to just look at that picture and remember how much fun you had. Pictures are memories and events captured in time that speak so many different words to so many different people. If you have any photos that you think are great pictures of places or things then feel free to turn them in to the PHS newspaper and we’ll post them on our page.
