The prep before football games is the best way to get you ready for the game. This is also known as tailgating and what’s a tailgate without some pre-game foods? Football season is finally here and that means it’s time for some good eats! From dips to sliders to wings, is it really football time without the key foods? Here is a list of foods with recipes that you just have to have on gameday.
Southern Cheese Fries:
Ingredients:
Crinkle Fries
Pulled pork
BBQ sauce
Pimento cheese
Directions:
Simple! Air fry your fries and then add your ingredients right on top.
Buffalo Chicken Dip:
Ingredients:
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
½ cup Frank’s Red Hot
½ cup ranch dressing
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
Spoon into a shallow 1-quart baking dish.
Bake 20 minutes or until mixture is heated through
Stir. Sprinkle with green onions, if desired, and serve with chips, crackers, and/ or cut-up veggies.
Cheeseburger sliders:
Ingredients:
Ground beef
Seasoning salt
Pepper
Garlic salt
Butter
Cheese slices
Hawaiin sweet rolls
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees
Take the white tray of buns out of the bag
Using parchment paper, unroll enough paper to make it the size of the tray that the rolls come in.
Cut the parchment paper to the size of the tray of the rolls.
Place raw ground beef on parchment paper and flatten to the size of the paper.
Season ground beef with salt and pepper.
Now place parchment paper and ground beef rectangle into a rimmed baking sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 15-17 minutes or until juice runs clear on the top.
While ground beef is baking, make the garlic butter and prep your rolls.
For the garlic butter, In a microwavable dish, melt butter and then add garlic sauce. Stir and then set aside.
Cut rolls in half and then place the ground beef on top
Use your favorite kind of cheese and place it on top of the beef.
Then place the top buns on top of the cheese.
Using a basting brush, brush the top of the buns with garlic butter.
Place the sliders in the oven for 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted, and the tops are golden brown.
Then you have your mini burgers! Add toppings as you please.

BBQ little smokies:
Ingredients:
2, 16-ounce packages of any kind of smokies
BBQ sauce
Ketchup
Brown Sugar
Worcestershire sauce
Garlic Powder
Paprika
Directions:
Place little smokies in the crock pot
In a medium-sized bowl combine the rest of the ingredients and mix well
Pour the sauce over the smokies and cook on low for 2-3 hours
