Broccoli & Cheese Casserole

       I chose this recipe because it’s one of my favorites. This is an all-around good dish, and whenever my mom brings this dish, everyone gets excited. 


Ingredients:

2 (10 oz.) pkgs. of frozen chopped broccoli; make sure it's cooked and drained 

1 (10 ½ oz. ) can of condensed cream of mushroom soup

½ cup of mayonnaise

2 beaten eggs

2 cups of shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons of chopped onion 

½ teaspoon of salt 

¼ teaspoon of black pepper

I cup of cheese-cracker crumbs

2 tablespoons of butter.


     First, you need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Then prepare a 1 ½ qt. casserole dish with butter, or you can use cooking spray. Cook broccoli according to the package directions. In a large mixing bowl, you'll need to combine broccoli, soup, mayonnaise, eggs, cheese, onion, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture into a casserole dish, top with cracker crumbs, and then dot your 2 tablespoons of butter on top. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Then enjoy!
