Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots

Kadie Bell

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

This is one of my favorite Thanksgiving dishes, my cousin makes it every year and it is so good. Here's what you’ll need, 1 lb of Baby Carrots, 2 tbsp of Butter, l2 tbsp of light brown sugar, 1 tbsp of honey, 1 tsp of Allspice or Pumpkin Pie Spice, and ½ cup of water. She cuts up her baby carrots and then set those aside. First, she heats a skillet to medium-high heat and adds the butter, brown sugar, honey, Allspice, and water to the pan. Bring this to a boil, stirring occasionally. Now grab the baby carrots and add them to the skillet, make sure to stir well to completely cover your carrots. Let those cook for about 7-8 min. Stir and check on them occasionally for a desire for tenderness. Once tender continue to cook until the glaze thickens and the liquid is reduced. (This should take about 5 min.) Then serve, you don’t wanna wait too long because they are 10x better when they are hot. Enjoy!
