Farragut VS. Powell Girls Soccer

Powell Vs. Farragut is always a game to watch. There are always a lot of mixed emotions going into tough games like Farragut, but Powell played a great game. Powell played the first half well, about 25 minutes into the game Sifa Morgan (#16) gets past 2 defenders giving off a great cross to Grayce Barnes (#11) and her giving us the lead 1-0. Coming into the second half, both teams come out even stronger, Farragut has a few shots on goal with some amazing saves by our keeper Ella Smith (#12). Powell's defense never failed to keep us in the game, with a solid back line of Ciarrah Turner (#21), Royce Russel (#13), Kaydence Weinhandl (#14), and Makhira Ralston (#7). The game starts to get heated and Farragut scores a great goal off the post with 5 minutes left in the game, now making the score 1-1. The game got physical but Powell and Farragut both stayed in it. Powell keeps fighting but they just aren't able to get another goal, the game ends with a score of 1-1.
