Flag Football is football but for women. It's a 5 vs. 5-player game with two halves, most times the game is 15 to 20 minutes long. They have a very important rule in flag football, there’s no contact allowed, including tackling, diving, blocking, screening, or fumbling. Instead of physically tackling an opponent to the ground, you wear flags that hang along your sides by a belt. Defenders “tackle” the ball carrier by taking one or both of their flags. The quarterback cannot run with the ball unless the pass it off first. When running with the ball, your feet can't leave the ground to avoid a defensive player, meaning you can't jump or dive, but you can spin if you need to. When passing the ball your passes have to be going forward and be received past the scrimmage line. Flag football tries to prevent power plays and not have short-yardage situations. When your flag is pulled when you're running with the ball, your feet determine where the ball is, not when the flag is pulled. When getting a touchdown it’s worth 6 points and when getting a safety it's worth 2. If your team is winning by 28 or more points the game is over and your team doesn't try to get another point.
