I chose this recipe because it's my favorite Thanksgiving dessert and everyone always enjoys it. It's pretty simple to make, and it's always fun to make as well. It always makes the house smell good.
Ingredients:
1 yellow cake mix
1 stick of butter
1 egg
½ cup of nuts (optional)
1 box of powdered sugar
1 8-oz. cream cheese
2 eggs
Steps:
Mix cake mix, butter, and 1 egg
Pat into a greased and floured 9x13 pan
Beat together the remaining ingredients (saving a small amount of powdered sugar to sprinkle over the cake when finished) and pour over the batter
Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until done.
Sprinkle top with powdered sugar
