September 15 through October 15 was Hispanic Heritage Month. The Hispanic Heritage Month. It’s a month celebrated in the United States to recognize and contribute to the influence that Hispanics have made. To celebrate their nation's achievements, culture, and history. It started as an observation and was only a week long in 1968 when Lyndon was the President of the United States. In 1988, President Reagan expanded it to 30 days. It wasn’t a real law till August 17, 1988. Some foods that most people make or eat during Hispanic Heritage Month are Tinga, Chilaquiles, Tamales, Carnitas, Mole, and Huevos Rancheros.
