Homecoming

Homecoming week is very exciting. This year, our homecoming game is against Catholic, which is very nerve-wracking. This game is on Thursday, October 21st, so we have our homecoming dance Saturday. Every year we have several people run for homecoming. We have people from cheerleading, softball, basketball, soccer, etc, but every year softball usually takes home the crown. To win, you have to raise the most money. The candidates usually sell t-shirts, do car washes, bake sales, etc. It can be very difficult to raise money.

During homecoming week, a lot goes on. The whole week we have dress-up themes. Each class also decorates a hallway and the best one wins. We have a pep rally outside and we all get matching t-shirts based on our class. Finally, we have our homecoming dance. This year there have been rumors that all seniors have to wear black and if you are not a senior you are not allowed to wear black.
