Powell’s Homecoming Dance for the 2022-2023 school year will be held on October 1st. Many people have been looking forward to this day however, tickets this year were sold out fairly quickly. The news spread faster than a rumor and stress began filling people's heads. I interviewed a few people that were not there on time to get their tickets. We asked them if they had already made plans for homecoming and how they felt about the shortage of tickets.

After additional tickets were sold on Friday, people were relieved; however, there were still quite a few people left that were not able to purchase tickets. Students wondered why they couldn't just simply pay and go, but many believed it was because of the shortage of chaperones..
