How Weather Affects Our Country

Weather patterns in the U.S are changing how we live and spend our money. U.S. residents are having to buy outrageous amounts of food, and most insurance companies are refusing to pay for their client's needs. KUB struggles to get the electricity objects fixed because of high winds. Everyone is struggling, and KUB is doing its best to resolve these issues as soon as possible.

During storms, there have been a total of 81,321 wrecks as well as a total of 1,041 deaths. It's best to avoid driving during storms because it tends to flood, which can cause a driver to go off track, similar to the effects of icy roads. Flooding can make many objects be lifted off the ground, causing someone to drown if they become trapped under something. For example, on Saturday, August 20th, 2022, there was a huge storm that flooded Humphrey's County, Tennessee. It destroyed nearly every home and store and took the lives of many. On that day, two-year-old Kellen Burrow Vagun, son of Brittney McCord, was washed away in a severe flood. McCord is now very stressed, hoping for the good news of finding his daughter. Meteorologists help us to avoid these dangerous situations by sending out warnings to tell us when and what kind of storms are coming our way. They also tell us where to take shelter and the severity of the storms. Without Meteorologists, situations in our lives may take a harsh turn, looking similar to that of Brittney McCord and the people of Humphrey's County.
