Watching NFL games on Sundays is always fun, especially when they go into overtime. Sunday, November 12, two different games went into overtime. The Packers vs. Cowboys game was one-sided, and it looked like the Cowboys were going to win. They were leading by fourteen points entering the fourth quarter. During the 4th quarter, the Packers' defense stopped the Cowboys from scoring, and the offense scored two touchdowns, tying the game at 28-28 and forcing overtime. In overtime, the Packers' defense showed up again, stopping the Cowboys and allowing kicker Mason Crosby to seal the game, which he did. The Packers won 31-28, giving the Cowboys their third loss of the season. The best part about Sunday was that not only did Aaron Rogers and the Packers win in overtime, but the Vikings did as well earlier in the day.
The Bills came out looking very strong, led by quarterback Josh Allen. The score at halftime was 24-10, and the Vikings needed to change something, which they did. They scored a touchdown in the third quarter and held the Bills to a field goal. Then in the 4th quarter, it looked like the Vikings' hopes of winning ended. They went for it on 4th down and came up an inch short, but when the Bills got the ball back on their one-yard line, Josh Allen fumbled the ball in the endzone, and the Vikings scored and got a three-point lead. Josh Allen came back to the field with less than a minute left and drove the offense down to field goal range, where they sent the game into overtime with a field goal. The Vikings got the ball first in overtime and scored a field goal. Josh Allen then got the ball back and was looking for a touchdown, but the Vikings' defense was there to intercept it for the win.
