What exactly is PAWS time? PAWS time gives the students a chance to explore other things outside of the classes they take. It is also like a brain break for the students. Being in school for almost 8 hours is exhausting for students and these 30 minutes of each day can relieve the feeling of exhaustion and give the students a chance to have fun, and enjoy themselves. There are many different activities to choose from, and there is a vast variety for all kinds of students who have different preferences. PAWS time offers anything from Sewing class to cornhole, to even a Pokemon club. This time of day is a great time to let students explore their interests and who they are as individuals. The best part is you get to choose your class based on your interests. I had the chance to personally sit down with Mrs. Walsh, one of our assistant principals, and ask her some questions about PAWS time, let’s hear what she has to say.
