Room Temperatures

As most people in this school know, it is cold everywhere and some rooms are frigid. The key part though is that the teachers can’t change it or affect it much. In some of the rooms the thermostats are in another room, so if it gets a little stuffy in there most of the cold air that they want goes into the other room that is already cold. The teachers know this and they get cold too, but with the vents and thermostats, they can’t do much. This could be a budget thing, but the least they can do is provide decent heating and cooling. Although this could be a complete myth, it is said that KCS doesn't even use the air conditioning during summer school. Some people just say to put on a jacket, but the reason for writing this is because the teachers should be able to control their teaching environment. It’s their classroom, they don’t deserve to be excessively hot or cold. And again, most teachers think it’s cold too, it is not just the students complaining. Hopefully they can improve on this in the future, because the rooms have been this way since elementary school.
