Student Spotlight: Alaina Osborn

By Jordan Snyder

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

I chose freshman Alaina Osborn to be in the student spotlight. My main goal in this interview was to find out how she feels about Powell High School and what her life is like outside of school. Since she is new to PHS, I wanted to figure out what she likes and dislikes. Her favorite thing about Powell is all the different classes you can take, as well as football games and pep rallies. However, if she could change one thing it would be the class times because, “ Even though it is nice to have a long class period it is also really long, tiring, and overwhelming.” While she isn’t involved in any clubs or sports this year she hopes to be in some next year. Whenever she gets some free time she enjoys hanging out with her friends and going on bike rides. She also claims to not have a hidden talent but says, “Outside of school, I do power tumbling and trampoline, which is a form of gymnastics,” which I believe is a hidden talent because not many people are good at that. Overall, Alaina is a very kind and hardworking person and a great student at Powell High School.
