I had the opportunity recently to interview a student named Colton Cruze. Colton is a sophomore here at Powell High School. He started attending Powell in the 6th grade. His favorite thing about going to school here at PHS is seeing his friends. His favorite teacher is Mr. Smith in general music because he is funny and makes the class fun. For sports, he likes to run track and is on the cross country team. He started running track in the 7th grade and started doing cross country in the 10th. He has a 23-year-old sister and they are very close. He described his best friends as “funny and very trustworthy” and “there when he needs them.” He goes to Beaver Creek Presbyterian Church in Powell, and attends the youth group every Wednesday. During his time there he has gone on mission trips and helped a lot of people build new homes and other things.
