Student Spotlight: Lydia Shaw

I got to talk to an interesting student named Lydia Shaw. She has attended Powell High School since 2021. She is in 9th grade and her favorite subject is Honors English 1 with Mrs. Atkins. She likes her class because it is fun and chill. She went to Powell Middle School from 6th grade to 8th grade. She likes to play volleyball and the position she plays is right side and middle. She has 5 siblings that she is pretty close with. She has many best friends. She uses the words funny, chill, and loves to laugh to describe her. She has had many fun and interesting experiences at the Island in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and has made so many memories. She attends Bells Campground for church and she is active in her church’s youth group. Some words others would describe her as are fun, goofy, strong-willed, and compassionate. This is the information I got about her and overall I think she is a wonderful and fun person to hang out with.
