Fall has arrived; the leaves are changing, the temperature is dropping, and seasonal festivities are more prevalent than ever. Most people recognize fall as football season, but my family does it differently. To do fall "right," a couple of things have to be done. These fall essentials include: getting a drink of apple cider; decorating the house; watching scary movies; and most importantly, taking a trip to the nearest pumpkin patch. For families surrounding the Powell area, Oak Farms in Corryton, Tennessee is the closest to them. With adult admission racking up to twenty dollars, it’s a fan favorite. The admission includes everything on the property, except for the sunflower fields and any pumpkins you may find along the way. While the flower fields may be an extra charge, you can pick as many flowers as you would like. Although, if you don’t want to spend the extra money, photos in the fields are free, and with such beautiful scenery, these pictures are a staple in any fall memory. Overall, Oak Farms is very family-friendly and safe for any little ones in your home, and just when you think you’re getting tired out, they have four different booths filled with food and refreshments. I highly recommended taking a trip to Oak Farms this fall season to make some memories that will last a lifetime.
