The Christmas Crash

By Nathan Lambert

The end of Christmas break is a time that none of us want to experience. We have to go back to work, or school, or just have to give up our holiday spirit…it sucks. But we all have to put an end to a good thing and there are some things that you can do to make that easier. In the days after Christmas, I would try to return to your normal sleep schedule. Getting up earlier in the morning sucks but you won't have to go anywhere for the time being because you would still be on break. After that, you can gradually start taking down Christmas decorations so you won't be constantly thinking about Christmas, but you don't have to take everything down at once just a little at a time. And the most important thing is discipline and realizing that you can't have constant fun and relaxation. You have to get back into a routine or you're going to fall behind on a lot of stuff, you have to keep going for next year to make the next Christmas more special.
