The suspected killer for Gabby Petito, Brian Laundrie, went into hiding on September 17, 2021. His remains were found in a Florida nature reserve on Wednesday, October 20th, but were reported on October 21st. On Wednesday morning, Brian’s parents got involved with the search for their son, not long after there was a bag found that possessed some of his belongings. Their attorney described it as “happenstance.” On Tuesday night, his parents went to the FBI and informed them that they wanted to search the park for their son. Chris, Brian’s dad, was searching in the park and just so happened to walk upon the bag. The bag which ultimately helped to locate Brian’s body and will help determine Brian´s death. This case has been well known on social media platforms for months now, especially TikTok. People who have been following this case are relieved that it has finally come to an end.
