What Happened To Field Trips?

Many students wish they can get time to explore and approach learning differently during the school year. What if we started taking field trips again? I feel like there should be at least one field trip a year for each grade, but to go you should at least have good grades and be able to afford it. There are many places we can visit for freshman, sophomore, and junior years. Examples would include Dollywood, Anekeesta, and more. Some places that seniors could go to are the beach or New York City. I also think that seniors should have a field trip in groups and go to colleges they want to attend in Tennessee. There can be many separate trips for certain classes. For example, people in Art can go to an art museum, people taking French II can go somewhere where French culture is dominant, and people who take nursing classes can go to hospitals and get advice from nurses that work there. This would be fun for students since they are mostly in the classroom bored and studying for the test. I think it’s time for field trips to return.
