━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Following a win in Dana White Contender Series 55, Raul Rosas Junior, El Niño Problema, officially became the youngest fighter in UFC history at 17 years old. During his match against 25-year-old, Mando Guiterrez, Rosas Jr scored a dominant win by unanimous decision of 30-27 amongst the scorecards of three judges. UFC President, Dana White, was shocked by this performance, describing Rosas Jr as “positively talented” and “special” during the post-event announcement. Rosas now has a pro record of 6-0 after his win on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Soon after earning a contract within the UFC Rosas stated, “I knew I was gonna get that contract, I’ve been saying it since the beginning. Since I was born, I knew this was gonna happen.” After concerns of individuals online thinking Rosas was either too young or inexperienced, Dana White disagreed. White then went on to say, “This kid is for real. This kid is legit. Impressive.” Rosas has spoken about his goals to repay his parents for the sacrifices they have made through his journey in fighting, stating “I want to help my family to move forward, and so we can continue moving up.” Rosas is currently a Bantamweight fighter, weighing in last at 134.0lbs, already setting his sights on the champion title, held by Aljamain Sterling.
